How I get our “Basic Interior” Detail Package done at Padilla Auto Detailing.

In this part 2 video to my basic detail package series, I go through the step by step process of how this interior detail is done for a client that brang in their Nissian Altima, adding on our “UV Protection” service, with a detailed over voice explained what each step helps with and the professional chemicals I use.

Every Service That Is Included In This Package:

-First, the initial air compressor blowout is done. This step is crucial, and alot of detailers miss this step. The point of the compressed air is to shoot out air at a high PSI to get out embedded dirt from that carpet, that a regular vacuum wont pick up. This leads to a smoother vacuum, and smoother carpet cleaning process.

-Next, the vacuum is done. Making sure to get every crumb in the car, we vacuum under seats, seats, the trunk, carpets, cupholders, and even plastics with dust and debris on them.

-After the debris removal, we move onto the wipe down and steam cleaning of all surfaces. During this process, many detailers miss spots such as the sun blockers, seat rails, and cupholders. I steam whats needed, and get all those plastics, and surfaces scrubbed down with a scrub pad, brush, and a dedicated interior cleaner.

-Then I move on to the rubber and/or carpet floormats, slightly steaming and a surface level clean. Remember, this is the basic not the premium interior detail! In the premium, expected a full shampoo/extraction of the carpets and seats.

-Finally, after dialing in the carpets and surfaces, the final step is to clean the glass windows, the easiest but most over looked step. Once again, many detailers dont clean the small hidden sliver of glass that is inside the door panel when rolled all the way up, so I make sure to roll all windows down and get that tiny hidden spot. After doing the glass, the final inspection comes, usually done with the vacuum, but most importantly putting the plastic wheel cover for that fresh look.

When I am all done with this process, every client recieves a small goodie bag, containing a few buisness cards, small candy treats, and a microfiber as a thank you.
